Alocasia of some kind? Sometimes I can’t tell the difference between a philodendron and an Alocasia.

You can tell the difference between those by looking at the center and how the leaves come out of it. Philodendrons have a stem that grows some distance, makes a leaf, grows a distance, makes a leaf. Alocasia leaves come out of the base of other leaves, so they develop more of a fan of leaves instead of a stem. Also as they grow older, philodendrons become climbing vines (some are faster about it than others), while alocasias stay on the ground and just make more leaves to fill in the space around them
