Someone suggested that I put my Monstera roots and water. I did. Now what do I do with them? 🤷‍♀️

You can let them grow into the pot

What was the main purpose of putting them in water? Was there like a certain goal you’re trying to reach with your Monstera letting them live in water is fine. They will get the water but a lot of times I like to leave my roots just how it is sometimes I train you to go into the soil for example I don’t like my Monstera being super leggy where a lot of the leaves are sparse meaning it doesn’t get a lot of sun so I added a grow light to make my Monstera more bushy is that what you’re trying to aim for I’m just wondering

Wasn't aiming for anything. A little over a week ago I asked on here if I should cut them off and somebody suggested putting them in water. Should I just stick them in the soil now?

I typical just stick the aerial roots straight into the dirt and they take off just fine, never thought about putting them in water first

I always feed mine back into the dirt or clip them when they get unruly.
