I use Miracle Grow, the kind depends on the type of plant

I’ve used Miracle Gro blue crystals for years. It works great. I dilute it 50% and use it twice a month. I add SuperThrive plant vitamins when I fertilize.

Any balanced fertilizer should work for normal uses. Balanced is anything that uses equal amounts of phosphorus, nitrogen, and potassium. This is also often called the NPK ratio. You may see fertilizer that says 10-10-10 on the packaging to indicate its balance. I personally use FoxFarm Grow Big, Tiger Bloom, and Big Bloom fertilizers. I mostly use the Grow Big as it’s a 6-4-4 and helps them, well, grow big. Then when they flower, and for my outside hanging baskets that are flowering nonstop, the Tiger Bloom and the Big Bloom. For repotting–I don’t think it’s necessary. New potting mix or soil should have nutrients. You can add a small amount of fertilizer after a month or so and add fertilizer into your regular watering routine.

Are you asking about repotting in general? If so, then the answer depends on the plant. For example, Violets need repotting every 6-12 months or the soil will become depleted and the plant will eventually die. But Hoyas only need repotting every 3 years if they are doing well otherwise.
