Hi there! I am new to the plant community and if I am being honest I have NO IDEA what I am doing. I’ve been just winging it and I’m looking for advice on how to care for these guys. I have what I believe to be an aloe, swiss cheese monstera, dieffenbachia, a lil air plant dude (not pictured), and a mystery cactus (if anyone can identify the weird skinny cactus lmk). Any tips and tricks are appreciated!! ♥️

If some of the pots don’t have drainage you might wanna water less often especially for your succulents

both the aloe and weird skinny cactus have one main drainage hole at the bottom of each. they’re both ceramic pots I think, too. do you think that’s enough?

The cactus is a golden torch cactus, they get huge

woah! I’ve had him for almost a year now and he’s just skinny and curvy! do you know if I am not caring for it properly or are they just slow growers?

Mines slow hasn’t budged since I bought it 😅 has for the pot I only have one ceramic and I water less often since it tends to stay moist longer with less drainage

thank you! i’ll try to keep an eye on it. definitely don’t want to overwater either. I tend to have a “too much gene”.

I’m not super familiar with cactus, I just have one, but the way that one is getting smaller at the top makes me think it’s not getting adequate light. They light a lot of light. That could also explain its slow growth, though they tend to be slower anyway.
