Hey guys, just wondering... Is it okay to most my plants? Even if they don't really need it. Like once a day?

Misting is more for us than the plants lol it doesn’t really do much for the plants, you would have to be misting constantly to increase the humidity. Misting can also increase chances of your plant developing fungus from the water left on the leaves. Don’t mist your succulents/ cacti and if you have plants that need high humidity I recommend getting a humidifier.
1 j'aimeOkay thank you... Would a diffuser be fine it it has essential oils in it? Cuz I like smells 😭
1 j'aimeYes you can, but it’ll provide a minimal humidity increase. I wouldn’t put it right next to any plants, I’m not sure if the vapor with the essential oils will damage plant leaves.
1 j'aimeYou need a humidistat to measure the level of humidity in your home. I aim for above 50%. If you are in a cold area (snow belt), then a room size humidifier will be needed. I have my tropicals arranged in a somewhat enclosed corner with a humidifier. A few feet away are succulents. Tropical area stays over 50 while other side of room is in the 30’s.

0 J'aimeIf you enjoy misting, you might try growing some mosses; they get watered with mist daily. Also air plants and the smallest orchids can do misting daily/every few days with full watering about once a week
1 j'aimeCool, will do
1 j'aimeI think misting once a day or once every two days is fine as long as you keep it minimal and use a very fine mister. Try not to let water build up on the leaves or sit for a long time. Your more tropical or water needy houseplants will also enjoy the mist more.
