I’m going to a plant trade next month and I would like to start to propagate some of my plants so they are ready to trade next month. I am looking to propagate my Calathea Dottie and was wondering if you could propagate it in water or does it have to be in soil?

I think calatheas have to be propagated by separation, but I’m not totally sure. If so, the part you separate out will already have roots and therefore be ready to go straight into soil.
