a mini update from ms. tineke, for anyone who cares 😂 After notching her I got really brave and trimmed the dead edges, praying I didn’t trim too close to the growth point. I removed a few of the worst leaves too. Now I’m keeping my fingers crossed that I didn’t shock her too much.

That looks so good! I like to trim dead edges too, because that way it’s easier to tell if the issue is getting worse or not!

Yes I was just thinking this today! I was taking pics but taking so many it was getting confused.

Wow! She looks so good, how do you keep her growing so well? Mine hasn’t grown a new leaf in months!

Honestly I’ve had this thing for two years and it’s only put out 6 leaves? It had a pest of some sort that I think I finally have gotten rid of. Dropped most of its leaves within this first 3 months of having it. I struggle a ton still, I do not mist anymore. Mine absolutely hates the cold so it goes to the warmest spot in the house during the winter. I give it as much sun as possible, Ive started fertilizing more frequently and as soon as these notchings heal a bit more I will up size the pot.
