a mini update from ms. tineke, for anyone who cares šŸ˜‚ After notching her I got really brave and trimmed the dead edges, praying I didn’t trim too close to the growth point. I removed a few of the worst leaves too. Now I’m keeping my fingers crossed that I didn’t shock her too much.

That looks so good! I like to trim dead edges too, because that way it’s easier to tell if the issue is getting worse or not!

Wow! She looks so good, how do you keep her growing so well? Mine hasn’t grown a new leaf in months!

Honestly I’ve had this thing for two years and it’s only put out 6 leaves? It had a pest of some sort that I think I finally have gotten rid of. Dropped most of its leaves within this first 3 months of having it. I struggle a ton still, I do not mist anymore. Mine absolutely hates the cold so it goes to the warmest spot in the house during the winter. I give it as much sun as possible, Ive started fertilizing more frequently and as soon as these notchings heal a bit more I will up size the pot.
