Hi guys New app user here & struggling to get my head around some of the guidance. Despite the watering prompts, I only ever water when the the soil is checked first & it seems appropriate. I’ve definitely been an over-waterer in the past. What confuses me here is that I might get a prompt to water then a couple of days later get a fertiliser prompt. It seems odd to not take into account that I might have only just watered it so why’s it telling me to then fertilise (I always select fertiliser in water in plant settings. Pic below is a beautiful Polka Dot gifted to me from a friend today. It’s Mother’s Day in UK, I only have plant babies & a fur kid who had a major operation a few days back so he’s not doing great. I have no little people so this was a lovely surprise 🤩🤩🤩 Thanks for any advice on the watering/fertiliser front H x

If you go into the plant info and click on the watering or fertilizer circle, it will pop up with this in the image. So when you have fertilizing with water as your fertilizer type, it counts as a watering when you fertilize. Make sure the soil type, pot type and size, draft info etc is input so it can more accurately predict watering needs and be sure to keep physically checking the soil moisture before watering/fertilizing and snoozing the app reminders as needed.

Hi lovely, so I screenshot an example. It shows to water in 8 days & also shows fertiliser in 11 (3 days later). This on a plant which suggests watering on a 9 day cycle. Hence my confusion x Thanks in advance x

This says you LAST watered it 8 days ago. If the plant is dry, you’ll water tomorrow. Then you’ll fertilize 10 days later (if the soil is dry) That is a BEAUTIFUL begonia!
