Quick question... should I wash her roots off before I put her in a chunky soil mix 🤔?

You don’t have to and I tend to err on the side of not disturbing the roots too much. You could lightly remove some of the soil on the roots and hose them off if you want to remove some of the old soil mix, but it’s totally fine to just plop it right into the next container and simply add your new mix. I only make an effort to really get more old soil off if I’m worried about it being too water-retentive- like if it was a peat moss plug or something- or if I’m switching to a semi hydro medium.

What do you think about my chunky soil mix? Is it too chunky? Should I add more soil?

Not too chunky at all! In my opinion it looks like you got it just right. With monsteras, it’s hard to go too chunky.

It looks yummy for your monstera. Please share the mix and ratio?

Sorry it took so long. I used 1 bag of Better Gro Orchid mix seen below and one and a half that same bag of potting soil. By doing it that way there was extra mix left over so I put it right back in the bag for later use.

Thanks, I’ll give it a try with my monstera when I repot him this weekend.
