I’m wondering if there is anything I can do to promote growth in the bottom of my pink princess philodendron. I cut off the bottom leaves that were having problems and it started to thrive - above the portion that I had cut off the bigger leaves… I have heard of a root growth serum but I’m not sure that would be any help here.

IDK about a root growth serum but I recently got turned on to the mycorrhizal fungi that's supposed to be similar to a rooting hormone I've been using it on my plants for about a week about your plant but maybe the stuff will help problem maybe you spray it with peroxide? I don't know if that's diluted or not I would Google it 👀🤷‍♀️

Keiki paste on the lower nodes has revamped my plant game

I have that, but I’m not sure where to score the plant and apply the paste.

I don’t even bother scoring the majority of mine because the vines are pretty thin. It probably takes longer for them to push out the new growth, but they eventually do just with putting a bit of keiki past on the new growth point. The picture I attached is one of my rehabbed plants. All the bottom nodes got keiki paste applications and I chopped above that last yellow leaf once I saw the new growth.

With thicker stems, scoring may help speed things up, but it’s not required from my experience.

Any of the root products are formulated for root development so I don't think those would be helpful other than healthy roots encourage healthy top growth. Generally, to generate bottom growth you cut off the top. Obviously this has risks for a plant like pink princess. It is a philodendron so propagating the top back into the pot and hoping that basal growth develops would be an option but you may not want to take that risk. Also, you don't know where that lower growth will develop so if you only take the tip off all the side growth could occur near the top which is not what you're after. I have never used nor do I know much about keiki paste but I would think if you have to do scoring it would be at or near a node.

I had the same issue with mine. I didn’t add anything to it, but about 6 months after the leaves died it started with new baby sprouts from the bottom.
