Does anyone know what kind of plant this is and why the leaves are thinning and stretching outward?

It is a tongue aloe plant, and it is light in the middle and the leaves are stretching out because lack of sunlight. I had a tongue aloe for about 3 years.

It’s spreading out due to lack of sunlight, and the middle is becoming lighter for the same reason. It is a tongue aloe plant, because if it were an Aloe Vera plant, it wouldn’t have the spots and it would have serrated leaves. This is an aloe Vera plant
