* Give it bright, indirect light. * If it’s too dark, it will grow slowly and produce fewer split (fenestrated) leaves. * Water when the top 2–3 inches of soil feel dry. * Water thoroughly until it drains from the bottom, then empty the saucer. * Overwatering is the most common cause of problems, so don’t keep the soil constantly wet. Use a chunky, well-draining mix: * Potting soil * Orchid bark * Perlite or pumice * A little coco coir or peat moss * If your home is dry, a humidifier or grouping plants together can help. * Feed once a month during spring and summer with a balanced liquid houseplant fertilizer. * Cut back or stop fertilizing during fall and winter. * Add a moss pole or coco coir pole so it can climb. This encourages larger leaves with more dramatic splits. * Wipe the leaves every few weeks to remove dust. * Rotate the pot every week or two so it grows evenly. * Trim yellow or damaged leaves with clean scissors. Happy Planting!!!
