My dad's been wanting either a money tree or lucky bamboo for father's day. What would be easier for him to care for? I've never had experience with either and he's pretty laid back with hi plant care.

    Money tree! All u have to do is water and re pot every couple years, bamboo takes little water for a while but the bad part is if u don’t give them water like once every 2 weeks they will die instantly and not come back to life!

    Also I am trying to rescue my son’s lucky bamboo- it’s been on the brink of death a couple of times- kinda finicky & only giving it distilled water with occasional fertilizer. My money tree just keeps growing. No special treatment other than water. I repotted it once. I neglected it last fall. Just keeps growing:)
