I use a well draining one on mine. I used an equal ratio on soil, perlite, orchid bark, and moss. I’m not measuring precisely though but I tried to ratio them equally.

I use tropical mix with some chunky perlite and coconut chips. I have too many of them to make my own and they do better in a professional blend.

I have 2 that needs repotted. I priced out each kind to make my own mix from Amazon and it was rather expensive! I may look into the tropical mix. Thank you!!

I tried making my own last year but it stunted them because I didn’t know how important lime is and all the vitamins! This year I’m going back to miracle grow and adding perlite & chips. I’m finding some good sales on Amazon for the mix. I was able to fill four 1 gallon pots and one 1 quart pot with one 6 quart bag (6 liter) and a third of a brick of coconut chips (orchid bark is great too) I just don’t like the smell. I found chunky perlite on Amazon and I love it so much better than the small stuff

I’m a fairly new plant mom so I was skeptical about making my own. Thank you for the information!

I just do 50/50 potting soil to perlite and my 10+ prayer plants are very happy
