Very specific question here but I had an idea lol. Has anyone tried putting grow light bulbs in their ceiling recessed lighting? I have a pretty dark space in my home (15 feet from an east facing window) that I keep the recessed light on most of the day and I feel that energy could be put to better use by growing a light loving plant lol. Any thoughts or advice welcome of course! 💚☺️

1 me gustaI have seen a few grow light bulbs that would fit most ceiling lights or lamps on sale at Walmart. Im willing to bet that Amazon would also sale some.

I know this is an old comment but I came here looking for this exact question. Did putting grow lightbulbs in your ceiling work? What bulbs worked? So curious as I hate to have lamps everywhere when I just need supplemental light for plants several feet from a west-facing window.
