I need help STAT. First pic was when I first potted these babies last week Wednesday. It’s rained lightly a couple times since I’ve had them. Today a freaking HAIL storm came thru while I was at work and they literally look like they got slaughtered (last pic). It’s going to be storming all week so I moved them to my garage. Same thing with my lantanas, strawflowers, and blue daisies in my other pot I planted a day after. Surprisingly they’re still standing. How can I save them??? Can I??? These are my first flowers I ever had that I literally just got and I was so excited to take care of and watch them all grow 😔🥺 what can I do?? They looked so gorgeous last night I wish I took a pic I was so proud. The second pic is from Friday. Hoping this isn’t the last I’ll see of them ☹️🤞

They should recover. Give it a week to see which parts are dead. Then, cut those off. Cutting the damaged flowers encourages the plant to put out new ones. I had two six months old Doberman pups that loved to sleep in a large pot of newly planted flowers when we were not home. Crushed everything but the hardiest plants. 😁

It’s also really cold (40-50deg) and it rained quite a bit yesterday. Any idea on how to let them dry quicker/safely?

They are probably water logged at the moment. I live in CO & we are prone to hail storms, followed by big rains - a plant nemesis. Try and keep them out of the weather for a bit until they dry out. Garage or carport or under a deck if you can. Don’t water until they feel a lil dry when you stick your finger in the soil. The hardiest of the bunch will survive.
