Plant mom

Can anyone tell me why my Monty Is so leggy? He gets bright light by that window in the day time and shoots new leaves every week or so, but they are all solid. He shot a few variegated leaves when I first got him. He’s about a year and a half old :)

Id suggest putting it closer to the window and mist it all over weekly in addition to watering. Also just wait. Mine spent a solid year doing exactly this.. when I stopped being stressed out, it grew!! ;)

Is there’re more then one plant in the pot?

I think so. I’m not sure because I got him when he was tiny but it looks like there might be two or three in there

Ok I would separate them and give each plant its own support that way they don’t overcrowd each other

It looks like multiple plants in one pot which creates a super leggy plant

I heard somewhere that every 2 feet away from a window with bright direct light reduces the light level by 50%, so a monstera like that needs to be right up by a big bright window or set up with ample lighting
