I’m new to this product and I’ve just started using it to treat fungus gnats… (Darn them!) It was suggested I use one drop in a gallon of water with my fertilizer included. I accidentally used a squirt instead of a drop; is there a problem with too much BT for the plant? Any other suggestions about this product would be really appreciated. TIA. 🤗💚🪴

I’ve been wanting to try this as well I just haven’t purchased it yet. Luckily I only seem to have a few at one time so it’s not crazy but they are annoying little buggers . I’d just water it down if you haven’t used it yet . I’m not sure about using more than directed . I usually have empty gallon jugs around because I use liquid dirt so I’d just poor them into separate jugs & top it off with more water .

How does this compare to other similar plant fertilizers you may have used in the past? 🤗💚🪴

Honestly I wasn’t that invested before I mean I loved plants but didn’t know enough about them & grow lights weren’t really an everyday thing & I literally have no light in my house so I really cant compare other than miracle grow & yes theres a huge difference. I’ve just gotten more serious about plants the past 2 yrs so I’m still learning but it’s been working for me . It’s the only thing I’ve been using .

If you don’t mind me asking, what made you use this particular fertilizer? 🤗💚🪴

I use A LOT more than a drop. I’m not sure how accurate the instructions really are with regard to fungus gnat control and it’s difficult to find any actual guidance online. But my fungus gnat situation didn’t really improve until I started using about .5 tsp BTI per liter of water (rough estimate). Now they’re basically gone though I still see a couple every once in a while.

And I thought this was going to be a cheap way to resolve my fungus gnat problem! But it looks like I’m going to use quite a bit more than a drop. I don’t like using the metric system, but it sounds like if you use half a teaspoon for a liter then I would use maybe 2 teaspoons and a drop for a gallon of water; correct? So glad to hear your fungus gnats have virtually disappeared; HOORAY! Regards, 🤗💚🪴
