Why Are My Meyer Lemons Staying Small and Drying Out? Hi everyone, My Meyer lemon plant has been flowering, but the fruits remain small, turn yellow, and dry out before they can grow properly. Does anyone know why this might be happening? What steps can I take to help the fruits grow bigger and healthier? I’d really appreciate your suggestions and guidance. Thank you in advance for your help!

Lemon trees need to grow outside in full sun and experience all four seasons in order to be the healthiest and thrive, I’d suggest planting it outside or at the very least have it in a pot outside in full sun

They were outside and only 3 weeks back I moved them inside. Last year they were completely inside and the fruits were big. I am thinking I may not be feeding them well. Anything i need to feed them ?

When did you buy the tree?

It’s more than 17 months. The last season the lemons were perfect

They need super high intensity light for at least 6 hours a day. It may also not have been properly pollinated so the fruit won’t mature. If you live somewhere it gets below freezing at night/day I’d keep it inside

I live in NJ so I moved them inside 3 weeks back. Until then they were in full Sun light. Last year I had good yield and they were inside only.

They may need a citrus fertilizer. And if you have a grow light, 12hrs on
