Ok my plant friends any advice welcomed right now. We all know the fall is approaching and it’s time to bring our plants inside. I would like to know do I need to do anything else preventative to my pothos before bringing my baby back inside? I plan on blasting it really good with a water hose first, spraying foliage front and back with insecticidal soap and then when it gets inside it will sit alone in my bathroom isolated for the winter until it returns back outside. I also plan on putting systemic granules in the soil once I water it inside as well!! 🤞🏽🤞🏽

Over the weekend I repotted a dieffenbachia that’d been living outside the past couple of months… there were beetles, a worm, and a number of pill bugs hanging out in the soil. Be prepared for some hitchhikers! 😄

I’d put the systemic in the soil 2 weeks before bringing it in just in case.

it's also commonly known as a roly-poly. they are little "terrestrial crustaceans" that eat decaying matter. totally harmless and you can find them under wood, bricks, pots, or in other damp environments. nothing to be scared of lol! not sure how creeped out anyone here is by bugs so if you want to see a picture give it a quick google search :)

Evict the frogs and lizards!😁 I’m a nervous wreck because they jump when I pick up the pots! Some old tree frogs are not happy being evicted from the pots with no drainage. They soak in the water under the plants. They don’t rush to leave.

The only thing you could add if you’re as paranoid as I am, is doing a soil dunk in diluted insecticidal soap :)

Absolutely mine was doing horrible inside but when I put it outside it started growing like crazy. I have given away so many cuttings from it!
