This is my night blooming cereus. On my request, a friend started it from a leaf cutting at the greenhouse where we work. I've had it for perhaps 8 years. It took at least 5 years for it to bloom. I will try to include a picture of that bloom. It hasn't bloomed again but that is probably because I have done some selective pruning to control the size and I probably interrupted the blooming cycle. It's got some nice growth on it now and I'm encouraged and hoping it will bloom again this year or next.

This is my burro’s tail, Joe. He is not my biggest or newest, but this is my third burro’s tail and I think I finally figured them out! Light on the crown and water only when 100 % dry. I am a reformed over-waterer! And below is Joe Jr!

One time, I bought a tiny Venus flytrap. It soon started dying because it needed more light. It had a baby and then the adult plant died. The baby is very, very, very healthy right now and it is growing a flower!

This is my ZZ plant Zoe. My daughter gave her to me in a 6” pot. We all know how easy ZZ plants are to take care of and how fast they grow but I love her because my daughter gave her to me and she reignite my love of plants.

This is my tiny Parlor Palm. It was part of a plant arrangement that our vet sent us almost 10 years ago when our kitty, Sam,was in ICU and passed over night. While alot of it had died, I still have this piece and I am trying to grow her into a more full plant.

This Philodendron Cherry is a plant I bought to honor my grandmother who passed last year. Leaves are sensitive to light (hence the burn), but now we are on the right track and the new leaves are gorgeous deep red.

A friend brought me a succulent (not sure what kind) many years ago, when I moved into my first solo place. Over 12 years, it went from tiny to huge to mostly dead to one tiny prop... And now it's 2 healthy small succs and 8 fabulous little props. I can't believe it's in its second decade with me.

My mom gave me a purple heart about 3 years ago. I didn’t know what it was or anything about plants. I have learned so much from it. The original one turned into 20+ props that kept multiplying. Some have gone to family and friends. I have used some for my plant β€œexperiments” and have learned so so much! I plan to plant some outside this spring as another experiment. The picture is from 6ish months ago have since pruned and propped more from it. It definitely sparked a love for learning and growing more plants
