Can Angel Wing Begonias be placed outside for the summer in the northeast when the temp range is 60-95? I have it in a place that only gets minimal sunlight. The other Begonias that are right next to it thrive out here every summer for the past 8 YEARS. The app said the site was recommended for this plant then today the pink warning came up saying this plant shouldn’t be outside. So what should I do?????

I put mine outside like under an umbrella. I don’t put them in the direction.

i honestly ignore those warnings most of the time. i have a west window, which is technically full sun, and soo many of my plants have gotten that warning that i've started to ignore it. they're all perfectly fine. pretty much any plant can be acclimated to full sun if you do it right. i would check what the warning is for, though, because it could be a heat advisory for the plant, which is a way bigger deal than light level

All the warning says is that it’s not optimal to keep outside, that it may be too cold for it. Well no kidding it would be to cold from October to June but it averages 80+ from June to October. I’m just confused cause when I went to change its location it said the site I chose was recommended. So yes I’ll ignore the warning it just irritates me cause it shouldn’t be there or the app shouldn’t have recommended the site. Sorry I know it’s not your problem I’m just venting. 🤪😊

The to cold is because of the night time temperature. Ignore unless getting to the below 50s is what I usually do.

agree with michigan that it's probably nighttime temps. begonia can do just fine down to 50 or 60 F.

Thanks and our temps aren’t going lower than 60 at night that’s why I waited until this week. In May that happens more often. By mid June it rarely gets below 60.
