How are everyone's plants doing this winter season? I'm in Zone 9a so my plants aren't thriving but they have not given up on me so that's been my highlight. I actually have been seeing some growth on a few plants but not all.

I’m in zone 9a. I started putting mine outside since the nights are warm enough for some of the tough older ones. They are growing well and getting rain water and higher humidity levels. 🪴

Im in zone 5b and all of my houseplants are thriving. Some have had some leaves turn yellow and fall off but thats totally normal this time of year. I move (cluster) all of my plants right next to windows so they get enough light during the day and I close the curtains at night to keep the chill from the window away and they all seem to be happy over the winter.

I’m in zone 5 too 🥲 It was so windy and cold yesterday that my humidifier went through 5 liters of water in 24 hours! I can’t wait until I can start thinking about outdoor plants again lol

Sure was windy here too. We just had a snow storm and another one is coming tonight.

What are these zones you speak of?

A guide of outdoor plant hardiness based on lowest average winter temps. It’s accuracy is sometimes contested, but it’s a good general reference

Interesting. I’m in 6b according to the USDA site.

I’m in zone 6a. My indoor plants are happy! My outdoor plants are having to be patient though. Lol
