🥹🥹 you know, I went to the islands this weekend and I swear I saw a whole bush of pink princesses just out there as landscaping that I wanted to take a cutting of 😮‍💨

Omg yes lol. Several years ago, I roadtripped with my dad down the US east coast. He was driving in Florida, and the way I did a double take after spotting someone growing a monstera albo up a tree in their yard!! I must have looked like a cartoon character whipping around like that lol. I was shocked that someone would be brave enough to grow one in the open like that. I mean topicals are so common in Florida, but still. At that time, I think a bare one-node albo cutting without even a leaf or root was going for a couple hundred, if I remember correctly. It felt like that person was keeping a stack of gold out in their yard 🤣 I definitely imagined sneaking a cutting lol But these days I have my own little albo that I got for about $50 and it even came with roots and actively growing leaves lol. And in a few more years, I’ll probably be thinking “I can’t believe I spent $50 on a common albo propagation” 😂

Gorgeous! 🤩 My poor white knight… I got it as a fully reverted plant to test if I could bring back the variegation. So it’s been chopped several times 😅 I have had two little pops of comeback variegation! But it would be nice to have a nice full showcase one
