    I would wait until you see about 40% coverage from the outside. I feel like it's better to err on the side of root bound than to repot too soon and risk root rot.

    I can’t see from the pictures but it also depends on how the plant is growing if it is still sending out new leaves then it doesn’t need repotting but if growth is slowing down or stoped then it’s time

    It’s not time to repot. You should see more roots than soil. You will see a thick mass of roots with spider plants like in my photo when they can be repotted. 🪴🍀
