I got the stormanthe triostar about 2 months ago as a cutting and I believe it's ready to plant. I've never had one of these and want to make sure I plant it right so she survives. Please any help would be greatly appreciated

Never seen it. I would just say pot it in the appropriate soil and you'll be find!! I've proped a few times and the root have never looked like that and they love life.
1 mi piaceRoots look similar to maranta and I’ve had success planting when they are at the same stage. Just make sure to keep soil moist/keep from drying out to help it transition from water to soil. She’s very pretty!
2 Mi piaceThanks I'm very excited to see her grow
1 mi piaceShe’s gorgeous!
1 mi piaceI have one also. It needs similar care to calatheas—high humidity, distilled water, don’t let the soil dry out, indirect light. I amended the soil with orchid bark and perlite, and a little charcoal.
0 Mi piaceGreat thanks. I have everything put the charcoal. I will get some today. Will rain water work?
0 Mi piaceIf you don’t have, don’t worry about it. I usually add it to all my calatheas because they are so damn picky.
0 Mi piaceRain water will be great. They do best with pure water-RO or distilled, or rain water. They don’t like many of the minerals, and some believe the chlorine and fluoride. Very sensitive to lime, as are some dracaenas too. Looks like a beautiful plant. In pic, calathea on right, Treostar on left.
1 mi piaceYour plants are very beautiful too. Thanks again for all the help
