I cut my stem off my yuca plant, is this it for my plant? Looks very much dead. 🥹

Why do you think it’s dead? It’s still very green and the bottom shoots look like they’ve recently put out new leaves

The stem seems very soft, I’ve picked off all the dead yellowing leaves. This is how it used to look x

It’s possibly unhappy, but by no means is it dead. Were the yellow leaves the bottom leaves on their shoots?

Yes. I’ve moved it to more sunlight x

Bottom leaves yellowing isn’t a cause for concern unless it’s a bunch of them. Sometimes plants will sacrifice the oldest leaves to have more energy for new growth.
