We have had this Jade plant for 2 years now, it’s been sitting in a window that does not get direct sunlight but for about an hour. I finally got this grow light and the leaves have been falling off fairly easily but from the bottom up. Is this just a sign of growing or should I be worried?

Maybe just stress from going little light to a lot of light?

The leaves are likely dropping because they aren’t acclimated to that kind of light. Your plant is going to put out growth that is acclimated to the lighting it gets, so whenever you change its lighting, there will be a transition period! I wouldn’t worry about it though - just keep an eye on it to make sure it does well under the grow light. Some plants like them, others don’t. But when in doubt, check the roots too!
