I have my elephant ears currently in a tropical soil mix based off of what the app recommends. However, I feel like it might not be doing it justice. I will be moving them to larger pots and would like to know if anybody recommends a different type of soil. I live in coastal Georgia so take that into consideration.

Plants can “freak out” with a repot might take a few weeks for it to recover

Are the photos before the repot? If so, they don’t look to me like they are ready to go into larger pots. They don’t appear to be root bound. Placing them in too much soil can lead to them being overwatered and getting root rot. I don’t personally have this plant but my Grandma always kept them and she used regular potting soil.

The pictures are from their current pots. I wanted to put them in a larger pot to allow them to expand and grow because I felt like they were stunted. When I first got them, they were small and they grew so quick and large and then now they stopped.

I planted 4 elephant ear bulbs a few weeks ago and they are already sprouting. I used regular potting soil. Also, mine are outside for more direct sunlight.
