Someone help please. I’m not sure if this plant died or if it can still be saved 😭. The leave is dying, the stem feels good, but there’s not activity so I’m preparing for the worst. Thank you in advance!

    Not an expert on Alocasia, but I’d say yes, this one’s gone. Once a leaf turns yellow, there’s no way for it to create food from sunlight anymore. Looking at the soil, it may have dried out too much. Believe Alocasia generally like high humidity and moist soil (at least the one I had before did). I’d compost this one and try again with a brand new healthy one 😊

    Alocasia can go dormant in winter. It may not be dead dead. You can always dig it up and check the corm. That pots is super big for a little corm though. It may not have been getting proper water
