Planta says 3 plants of mine (money plant, snake plant and scindapsus) are in too dark of a spot (6 feet from a window, bright indirect light all day) but if I place them any closer (aka in the window) they suffer. I don't have a solution for this for the app. Anyone else have this problem?

Yes I also have this problem what I do is that as long as the plants seem to be doing fine 6 feet away from the window you can just say your plants are closer than they are and that seems to have worked for me.

I do have this problem so on planta I say it’s much closer to the window than it is

I normally just ignore when plants says that. But one thing for sure, you slowly acclimate them. Move closer to the window little by little. I got mine all by the window where they get an hour or so of afternoon sun, and planta says "too sunny" lol.

I have three non-succulent plants. Which do you think give me problems? I continued to get “placed to dark” in every spot. The sun murdered the tips. Now, I have it 15 feet from a south facing window where it gets 0 direct light. New leaf! ps That is an artificial cactus.

They “give me problems” being my, not Planta alerts’, fault lol.

Side note, but I once spoke to an employee at the supermarket if their tiny garden area that was STUFFED with healthyish cactus received anything other than 0 sunlights + supermarket lights in the middle of the store. Nope. I then stopped underestimating my overhead fixtures and fit them with LED lol.
