ABagelCongrats! Do you have a picture of it? I think most varieties need full sun. It may also come with care instructions.

This looks like a hybrid tea rose. Typically they are grown for their long sturdy stems. The varieties you see for cut bouquets like this are usually grown in Ecuador. I learned this from watching a rerun of Martha Stewart the other day lol. I don’t have experience propagating this type of cutting but if you have rooting hormone I read online it’s possible and YouTube videos can help.
