I would recommend not misting, getting a humidifier, and not following Planta’s watering schedule. Misting doesn’t raise humidity and can cause fungal issues, and for me the risk isn’t worth it. A humidifier is the only way to raise humidity in any significant way. Also, the planta watering schedule always makes me water too often. For a calathea, I would water when the top 1-2 inches are dry.

Good luck! I have put mine in a shady area on the front porch that gets only morning sun and it’s doing better. I could not keep it looking good indoors without tons of humidity.

it’s good to put a bunch of plants together with a humidifier to create a warm and humid environment, however, make sure you’re treating for gnats as a preventative if you do so because they will come 😫🤣

Mosquito bits or systematic granules, or you can try a natural way with nematodes (just started using SF from natures good guys so don’t have much information yet but I will be ordering other ones for spider mites and thrips as well) plantsbymelissa on ig and YouTube has some info on both mosquito bits and predatory mites
