New to indoor plants and the app says this an umbrella tree plant. It was in an arrangement from my mother in laws funeral. I repotted it to this pot about 3 days ago and yesterday I watered it until water drained out bottom. I drained water out of the saucer so it wasn’t sitting. But now it looks even worse and drooping. Should I replace soil with dry soil? Planta says it’s overwatered and might have root rot.

You have healthy shoots in there so I’d leave it be and let it dry out before your next watering. These plants don’t like being overwatered. Let top 2 inches dry out before watering again. The fact it’s in a glazed pot, it will need it even less. Put those details in the app. Are you giving it enough bright indirect light?

Yes it’s in part sun part shade location. I think I made it worse by watering too soon because I didn’t water after repotting so thought I needed to

Ya just let it be to dry out. It needs to get used to its new environment.

The pot looks too big to me and is likely retaining water for too long. I killed my umbrella tree as a baby and learned the hard way that they like to be snug in the pot. I would repot her into a smaller pot.

I didn’t have mine when he was a baby, but as a teenager, he loves light.
