Hey guys :) I just started a little herb garden and I’m the worst with plants (hopefully this app helps me not overwater) Sorry in advance if these are silly questions <3 First my rosemary just got repotted two days ago into a bigger pot as it was crowded and this is the only pot I had - it’s now feeling a little droopy and sad and not perky. Is it something I did? I didn’t drench it when I first repotted it because it was already watered at the nursery that day. I also read they like to be neglected and dry a bit so I’m thinking maybe I just let it adapt and try not to mother it so much? The soil is damp about a knuckle under the surface but the little guy looks thirsty :( The other question is my jalapeño plant is chilling on the balcony and it says it likes full sun. Is the Florida sun too hot because the leaves are getting a bit discolored on the tips? Should I move to partial shade until it’s adapted to being outside or will it toughen up or am I just overly concerned and nothing is even wrong? Rosemary and jalapeño pics below // potted in organic potting mix with moisture control & following the watering schedule on planta

drooping in most plants is caused by under watering but I don’t know much about herbs or jalapeños at all so I might be wrong. if you’ve read that rosemary prefers to be dryer then I would definitely back off but keep an eye on it. partial shade could be good for a little if its been inside otherwise it should be fine.

Both should be in the full sun but I’m worried those pots are WAY too big for each plant.

Oh how big should they be? I knew that both get to be big plants so I thought they would just fill out these pots

The risk you run is root rot because the soil takes too long to dry up since it’s in a huge pot. If you had it in full direct summer sun it wouldn’t be too much of a problem but those aren’t the current conditions. I would scale it back to a much smaller pot for now. You can always transplant when it starts growing.
