Lookie here‼️ My little anthurium has what I’m guessing is a flower! It was such a surprise, like a gift, which is super special to me. And I need some clarification on its actual name. Is it a white veined clarinervium, or is it the ID I now have, which is a crystallanium? It has been ID as both, and I don’t know which one it actually is. TIA! PS. Does anybody know why it’s stems are not erect? As you can see, the stems lay very low, as if the leaves are too heavy for it. It also pulls its leaves back towards its stems, which looks rather strange to me. TIA, again…🤭!

Just in case you’re wondering, this plant does get enough light, but I closed the curtain behind it so I could get a better picture of what I think is a flower!

Based on the leaf shape, I think clarinervium is the correct ID. Their leaves are more rounded and wide vs the crystallanium leaves, which are narrower and long. Also, clarinervium are known to be more compact, so that would explain the stems laying low.

TXS for your reply… I really appreciated it! Do you know if this plants leaves will become more erect as it matures? Might you have a picture of a more mature one, as it seems you know quite a bit about them? Any other info you have about this plant would be really helpful. TIA!

No problem! Just an FYI: I had them flip-flopped in my comment, so I updated it. (It was after midnight when I commented, so my brain wasn’t functioning at full capacity. 😆) I don’t have a clarinervium, but here’s my crystallinum. I had the same question as you when I first got my crystallinum. They’re very similar!! ☺️
