It’s funny that all summer long my basil plant has done great in my kitchen window with the sun. But recently I read on Google that it may be dying due to too much sun or under/over watering. And I thought this was the one plant besides my coleus that I was doing good with. So any clues as to what is wrong with my basil plant?

Bas too much sun, no I’ve grown it outside with full sun for 12 hours in the summer, zero shade. My guess it is water. What does the soil feel like? Is the pot heavy or is it light. Pull the plant out of the pot and look at the roots. If it is wet put it in an another pot with some dry potting soil and wait a day. If it is dry do the same and give it some water. Either way let the water drain in the sink for about an hour. Then sit it in a few paper towels to soak up the excess water.
