Hope everyone is doing well ☺️ How frequently do you wipe your plant leaves with Neem Oil?

Be careful if they’re in direct sun though. It could cause the leaves to burn

Yes, I have seen that it should be applied in the evenings.

I never use it. Smelly and oily. I don’t shine leaves because it doesn’t help the plants grow. I do remove salts and hard water deposits with a water-vinegar solution mixed with a few drops of Dawn soap.

Mmmm I may try that. The Neem oil does have a smell and it’s very oily. I don’t have pest (mostly fungus gnats) anymore since I changed to Mollys potting mix and the Chunky Aroid potting mix. So I really don’t need the Neem oil anymore for that. I was using it to shine the leaves but I’ll try what you mentioned. Thanks!

There are commercial products designed to shine leaves. I used them years ago because the plant lady I knew who supplied and cared for plants at a bank used them. I was worried about blocked leaf pores and dust sticking to the leaves. So, I stopped using it.
