I have one that’s been clinging to life for like a year now. She has like 4 pearls. I have no idea how to help her, and no idea how she’s still alive. I know this isn’t helpful but wanted to commiserate 😭

0 likesFast draining cactus soil, shallow planter (because roots are extremely shallow), water only when totally dry, and lots of very bright light. And for newbies I suggest terracotta planter.
5 likesAlso the pot should have a drainage hole
2 likesi did everything but the terracotta planter and i know the soil is really good soil
0 likesMine was like this before.. every petal it dropped I would just throw back into an empty spot in the pot.. now it’s full. Just stick the pearls that are out of the pot into the soil.. until they shrivel then water. From the bottom for an hour or so.. but also change the soil
1 likesoil is changed but i will put any fallen pearls back!
0 likesdoes this pot have a drainage hole? if not, remove and add a 2inch nursery pot that can be removed for watering.
0 likesyes a good drainage hole
1 likeThe soil looks too dense from the photo. She is staying moist for too long is my guess.
