Are they getting enough sunlight
0 J'aimeI had them on my window sill inside and just put them outside in the sunlight this morning I just watered them for first time this morning and when I got home from work
0 J'aimeDid you check the app for how often you need to water them?
0 J'aimeYes it said every 3 days but they look almost dead and dry dirt I just found them
0 J'aimeThey’re probably root bound and need to be planted in the ground or some big planters.
2 J'aimeI thought so I’m trying to find some affordable ones rn
1 j'aimeHave you thought about the fabric containers? I have one that is the size of a small kid pool that is perfect for my wild flowers. I think I found it on Walmart’s website last year. I also drilled holes in a five gallon bucket for my sweet potatoes. Lol Just have to be a little creative to save money. 😁
0 J'aimeSince they are in very small pots, they will dry out much faster than the app will know about. The good thing is that there are a lot of them so you can water all now, then experiment with a watering schedule and sunlight by putting them different places in your home and having them on differing watering schedules.
1 j'aimeOkay good I hoped I wasn’t drowning them but the dirt did seem to dry out after a few hours and I put a bit more they are standing up a bit more now😭 so they don’t have to be outside?
0 J'aimeI thought I messed them up because I had them inside and my bf said maybe the ac too
0 J'aimeThey absolutely need water, I’d recommend filling the bottom tray up and let them soak for a long time so make sure the soil isn’t hydrophobic. Once they’ve had a few hours to soak it up empt the tray then wait a day or two and repot them. I’m sure they’re ready for bigger pots judging by the plant size.
2 J'aimeAwesome thank you! I will do that! I would see the droplets not soaking in from the top right to see if it’s hydrophobic?
0 J'aimeUsually it will bypass the soil in some way if it is hydrophobic. It’s also coming for these trays to get that way because they’re tiny and dry out really fast.
