I have my satin pothos in a west facing window, water it about once every 10 days give or take when it gets dry and I try to catch it before it curls, I have a humidifier set to 65% on the other side of the room, but I feel like I can’t quite figure this plant out? It’s putting out this loooong bare vine, some leaves come out very tiny and some come out big, I’m at a loss!! Please put any tips you have in the comments 😩

  1. Chase :)

Because of how high up it is, the top of the plant may not be getting enough light. Also, if you don't already fertilize, that makes my pothos grow like crazy!

runners are usually the plant looking for more light or support. having it on a trellis in brighter light would discourage further lanky growth

That’s what I thought too but it’s already in my (big) window. I didn’t think it needed a grow light too!

i think chase might be right about the positioning of this plant— lower in the window and it will likely receive more light. you could try hanging it from a chain from the curtain rod or simply placing it in the window instead
