    They are just roots

In the wild, orchids grow on the surfaces of trees, and the “roots” hang down and collect moisture and nutrients from the air. It’s normal for some roots to grow outside of the pot.

When you see new root growth like that, it's a great time to repot. Do wait until it's done flowering (or at least not in bud if it kept a flower spike). Also make sure water doesn't pool or stay in the crown (where all the leaves meet). It looks okay, like you just misted it, but water getting there and stagnating can cause rot and kill the plant

Thank you for your help. It’s just flowering again so will wait until it finishes to repot?

If it's still in it's nursery pot, it might be better to repot it since they sometimes use weird packing materials that can retain moisture too long and cause root rot, but if you know it's in a good bark mix, it's fine to wait. For a plant that's keeping spikes continuously, the best time to repot would be right after you trim the flower spike back

As above, these are aeriel roots, very natural, they seek out air, moisture /humidity. I usually give mine a light misting when I'm watering the rest of the plant.
