The Planta app is still telling me to water my Venus flytrap. It’s turning black like it’s going dormant. When should I stop watering it? Shouldn’t the app know? Also, do you really put yours in the refrigerator while dormant? TIA

No, distilled water only.

KarlaI'm still watering mine according to the app but it's not changing colors. I didn't know they went dormant I guess

eatyacarbsi have heard of people overwintering their VFTs in the fridge! it’s a real method. do you have pics of what’s blackening? that should help our resident VFT experts
