Hi everybody, so I’m a SAHM and currently out of work. I was planning on selling some of my propagations for a little extra cash. Just wondering how much you’d pay if you saw these for sale? 😅 (they're all in 3 to 4 inch pots but I’m thinking of switching to perlite)
For the pothos/philo brazils I'd go $10-$15. For the alocasia, $15-$25. That variegation is nice quality

Omgsh girl you got this! I'm mostly a SAHM as well (only go in to work 1-2 days a week). Monetizing my plant hobby is a dream of mine too! Stick to it so I can use your success to motivate myself. Lol! 🤪😂
1 Like As far as pricing, it depends on what crowd you are selling to. If you are selling to like FB marketplace community, most the people are looking for deals. But if you have the opportunity to sell to a community that values supporting local businesses/individuals over box companies, you could price higher. If competing with box stores, I'd stay lower than $15. But for the other crowd, $15 for pothos and >$20 for the alocasia. So i agree with Waspinator 👍

1 Like Aw, thank you and congrats on your bundle of joy! ❤️ I was definitely thinking FB marketplace (only because I don't know where else they'd sell) and I was going to sell for about half that so thank you for motivating me to up my price a little!
