Is it getting enough light? These plants need a whole day of indirect light. How about your fertilizer? You will need a fertilizer high phosphorus. Regular fertilizer promote healthy leaf but not flowers. How about your pot size? Do you have a lot of room left in it? These plants light to be a little tight. So if is too big, maybe think about putting it in a smaller one. Good luck, beautiful for sure 😁
1 likeThank you for advice. I’m new to caring for plants. My dad passed in November and he had sooo many. I just couldn’t let them go. They’ve almost overtaken my house. The violet gets indirect light all day. I will try a different fertilizer.
0 likesSorry about your dad, looks like he did love plants and took good care of them. Having plants is a lot of work for sure, but the reward is amazing and beautiful. Yes, use a different fertilizer and you should see flowers soon. Good luck 😃

0 likesAfrican violets tend to grow if phases, growing a bunch of leaves and then flowering. Mine was doing really well and sprouting leaf after leaf for a whole year before it decided to bloom again, if leaves are coming in then it’s safe to assume it’ll flower when it’s ready
