Can anyone tell me what this plant is? Someone in my area is giving a piece she broke off her plant and I am going to try to get it but I want to know what it is and the care for it. Thanks

It’s a Dragon Tail, Rhaphidophora Decursiva. It’s an easy care plant similar to a monstera with vines as stiff as lucky bamboo and older leaves that split like a palm tree leaf. So, training it on a moss pole while it’s young is highly recommended because the vines become too stiff to manipulate as it ages. East window lighting is best or in a south window filtered through sheer curtains. The leaf nodes will be close together if the lighting is enough. A chunky potting mix with lots of perlite, coco coir and orchid bark gives good drainage. Fertilize in spring and summer. Reduce or stop fertilizing in winter if growth slows or stops. I use Miracle Gro and SuperThrive plant vitamins once a month. Propagate in water as shown in my photos. Fertilize the water when roots grow out. 🪴🍀
