Hi everybody, I rescued this polly from a local Lowe's. I noticed a few corn node/bud similar to "eyes". Are these able to sprout new leaves? The existing leaf will probably not make it so should I keep it or remove it? Thanks!

Yes the corms will eventually sprout baby plants but they have to stay attached to the original plant until they get big enough. Eventually they’ll fall off into the soil and you can either let them grow in there, or pot them up separately (moss works well for corms if you wanted to separate them) I would just leave that leaf on so that the plant can use it to photosynthesize for as long as possible, and the plant will reabsorb energy from it.

I’ll definitely be checking on that to see if anything comes out. Thank you !

I’d also may be trying to trimming the bad part of the leaf off.
