For some reason I’m the air plant killer. 😕 This is my second air plant. First one died of overwatering and I think this one might be dead from under watering. Can you tell me if it’s dead or not, and if it isn’t how to save. I don’t understand how I do this!

You could try soaking it in some room temp water for a few hours then set it in a bright spot. It may not work but worth a shot! If you need any more air plant tips lmk!

I soak mine for 30 mins in room temp water then let them dry out in a sunny location for a few hours before I put them back. And I do that about once a week. Are you doing something similar? I killed my first few air plants too but found this method had kept my new ones alive.

I was spraying mine. I’ll try this and see if it comes back

Soak for 20-30 minutes every two weeks, make sure it’s in bright light so it dries out and doesn’t rot. Spraying doesn’t deliver enough water.

Also don’t let water get trapped inside, if it’s the king that can trap water. I always hold mine, and windmill my arm around to get any excess out.

Water evaporates extremely quick here so I don’t think I have to worry abt that but have started soaking.
