I recently checked on my FLF for overall health, and it is very rootbound. I’m thinking of repotting but not sure how big to go. Is this pot too big?

Imo it’d be fine. You can probably guess when it’s time to repot again odds are you’d have to crack that pot open

I think it’s a little too big of a jump, in my opinion. What you could do is find a plastic pot that would fit inside that new pot (maybe propped up on something at the bottom), then you could still have the cute aesthetic but better pot ratio for the plant. 🌿

i agree with this. only go two inches or so bigger. and it looks too deep so you may risk losing leaves if you do so.

I agree that it’s too big of a jump. Rule of thumb is to go up 1-2 inches in diameter. It doesn’t seem like much, but it gives a decent amount of room to the roots.

It’s too big. Excess soil around the roots can lead to root rot when the roots can’t use up all the water in the soil.

Some plants like to be root bound! I’ve had my fiddle in the same pot 2 years now
